ANCILLA VOCATIONAL TRAINING COLLEGE, KIEMBENI
Established in 2008.
- To give skill and means of livelihood to the underprivileged women and girls
- Have three trained teachers; reasonable office equipment and sixteen sewing machines.
Out of the thirty-eight students only five are regular student while thirty-three are on part-time because they are serving as maids but struggling to train themselves to become self-reliant. They are often unable to pay fees on time because they depend on the little they receive to pay for their training.
Achievements
Those who finished last year did well in the external exams. Out of the four who completed, three and self-employed at home and doing well.
